All about ISRO.

ISRO stand for Indian Space Research Organizations is a space agency of Indian Government. ISRO'S headquarter is situated at Bangalore. The Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR) was established in the tenure of Jawaharlal Nehru  under the DAE in 1962, with the urging of scientist Vikram Sarabhai recognizing the need in space research. In 1969 when nasa was landing on the moon We were renaming our organization INCOSPAR as ISRO. In 1972 Indian Government setup a separate commission Department of Space which brought the ISRO under DOS (Department of space).

ISRO built it's first satellite aryabhata which was launched by the Soviet Union on 19 April 1975.  Satellite was named after the great mathematician Aryabhata. Rohini is the first satellite to launch and built by ISRO in 1980.  ISRO subsequently developed two other rockets: the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) for launching satellites into polar orbits and the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) for placing satellites into geostationary orbits. The satellite which orbit the earth by passing through the poles is called polar orbit satellite.  The satellite which orbit the earth and look stationary from the earth is called geostationary satellite. Geostationary satellite is mainly used for communication purpose.

Chandrayaan 1
ISRO launched it's first lunar probe chandrayaan 1 on 22 October 2008 which was a great boost for ISRO. Chandrayaan 1 founded a water on the moon which was confirm by nasa.

Mangalyaan
Mangalyaan was launched on 5 November 2013 by ISRO. Mangalyaan is orbiting the mars Since 14 September 2014.
By the success of mangalyaan India became the first country to reach mars at its first attempt.  ISRO's mangalyaan make India the fourth country to reach mars after nasa ( USA ), roscosmos ( Russia ) and ESA. After mangalyaan success India became the first Asian country to reach mars.  The budget of mangalyaan is less than the Hollywood movie gravity.

Chandrayaan 2
Recently ISRO launched it's second lunar mission chandrayaan 2 on 22 July 2019. Chandrayaan 2 consist of a rover pragyan which will land on moon and try find source of water. Before telling about the budget of chandrayaan 2 I will talk about a famous movie Avangers Endgame. We all know how famous avengers are.  If you talk to someone about Hollywood movie than you will definitely discuss about marvel studios and avengers.  The Avengers Endgame budget is $356 million while the budget of chandrayaan 2 is only $124 million. Means chandrayaan 2 budget is less than the half the budget of Avengers Endgame movie.

ISRO also created a record by launching 104 satellite on the same rocket.

Future plans.

Mangalyaan 2 ,  Aditya-L1 , Shukrayaan 1 , India's space station, etc. are ISRO's future plans.

Mangalyaan 2 is also Mars mission.
By Aditya-L1 ISRO is trying to reach the Sun. (Definitely ISRO wil reach the Sun )
Shukrayaan 1 is Venus mission.
And there are many to comes.

 Thanks for reading.
